Opera Browser is only free with Revo Plus. If you want to use it with other EPOC32 machine, you can purchase the business version.

  • Opera Software is a Norwegian company that specialised in web browsing software, and who have a small but significant share in the desktop browser market. They have recently started to port the software to the EPOC operating system, and this is now available to all Psion users.

  • 128-bit encryption using SSL 2.0 & SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0 for greater security when accessing secure sites.

  •  JavaScript 1.1, for e-commerce on sites using shopping baskets, for example.

  • Internet standard support for HTML 3.2 and TCP/IP

  •  PC-like UI with familiar buttons for quick navigation

  •  View all sites either full graphics or just text

  •  History list for quick reference

  • Bookmark favourite sites and use the Bookmark Manager to categorise them

  • Save or cache pages for off-line viewing

  • Supports JPEGs, GIFs, Frames, and Cookies for complete viewing experience
  • The memory footprint for Opera® is 1.5MB.  However, when running, it will require at least another 1MB of memory overhead for caching.  We recommend having at least 2.5MB open on your Psion when installing it.
