| A New Digital Era - Palmap | Palmap is the first digital map incorporated in EPOC Platform in Hong
Kong. The software is permitted by the Lands Department, the Government
of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to use the official 1:20,000
digital map as the map base.
On the top of the various powerful built-in functions, you can also connect the Series5 to the Global Positioning System (GPS) to provide an all-weather conditions satellite based navigation system. It's so easy and cost-efficient to update the information in the digital map. You can keep the Hardware without wasting money to upgrade. It's time-saving as you can update the digital data in less than 15 minutes. What's more, you cannot believe that the updating is at such a low price. |
| Panning with continuous Map | Palmap is designed in a continuous map concept so that it can demonstrate the whole set of 1:20,000 digital map on the Series5 screen. The user can press the pan buttons to view the whole territories in continuous display. |
| Location & Estate Searching | Palmap can provide a searching engine to find out the location of a particular place or estate in Hong Kong. |
| Road Searching | The identified street and road will be highlighted in the map for easy recognition. |
| Bookmark for Location Search | The user can input some specific information of a location, such as home, working place or destination, into the Series5 as a bookmark for easy location search. |
| GPS Option | The Software adopts Global Positioning System (GPS), a satellite tracking technology, combine with detail digital maps to bring navigation at your fingertips. The combination of Palmap and GPS is a very powerful tool for identification of location, access to business listings and points of interests with a dynamic real time display of location. |
